Meet Our Play4TheCure Spring 2020 Interns!
Ava Edalatkhah
My name is Ava Edalatkhah, and I am from Gaithersburg, Maryland. I am currently a second-year student at Montgomery College, working towards my associate’s degree in Business, and I plan on transferring to the University of Maryland, College Park in the Fall of 2020, where I will be majoring in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship Technology.
I am a member of the Southern Management Leadership Program, which supports and develops students who have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to give back to their community, into leaders. I am also an ACES ambassador at Montgomery College, and our mission is to help educate by building empowering skills and supporting ACES students throughout their academic journey.
I have always been passionate about combining education and creativity to allow myself to experience and learn as much as I can in order to give back to others. I am excited to be able to apply my previous experience to this Communications and Digital Marketing internship in order to expand my skills and learning here at the National Foundation for Cancer Research.
Sarah Sylvan

I am interested in being an intern for the National Foundation for Cancer Research and Play4TheCure because I have a passion for working with nonprofits, and I’d like to apply my skills in a way that can benefit others. While in my sorority I’ve worked closely with our philanthropy, Girls on the Run, and I look forward to applying my knowledge from past experiences to this new setting!
If you are interested in an internship with Play4TheCure, email your resume to Play4TheCure@nfcr.org!
